With the further advancing of the market-oriented economic system reforming and the continuous economic increasing, the township has been overwhelmingly developed: a large number of middle-sized and smaller towns are growing up and their scale is increasingly expanded. However, the development of the township incurs them more burdens, a great deal of ecological and environmental problems, and makes acute the conflicts between the municipal economy development and their lack of water resources. It has arisen the public concerns with the fact of water quality deterioration because of discharge of the wastewater before being treated. Now, there is common concern on the strengthening of the municipal construction, treatment of the wastewater, and preventing from the deterioration of the water sources in township. Therefore, it is urgent to exploit a serial of technologies on wastewater treatment featured by low-investment, low-consumption and high-efficiency in respect to China's national conditions.Among the wastewater treatment technologies, SBR has been widely applied to the smaller towns. Since SBR is featured by its peculiar operation (intermission), simple structure, little space occupation, low expense of construction and operation, and being suited to the technology remolding. But for the growing up of the smaller towns, it is imperative to improve the traditional SBR technology so as to strengthening its...
