The subject is put forward according to the actual working requirements, and our major target is try to explore the multifunctional auto N.D.T. system for the different kinds of the oil pumping rods according to research of the N.D.T. technology overseas and interior.It's significance in both the theoretical and practical aspects for the research and developments of Auto N.D.T. System for the oil pumping rods. For its actual superiority and the widely applicability, the Auto N.D.T. System is deeply needed especially in the domestic market, and we could easily expect its excellent future.During the research and develop course, we have done totally three major tasks, Firstly, we need to compare lots of the different sorts of the N.D.T. technologies, and choose the most suitable N.D.T. technology for the actual working requirements. Secondly, we further our research in the factors such as the affecting reasons, types of the cracks of the oil pumping rods, and did lots of analyzing about the signature features of it. With the fatigue measurements and some valuable data, we got the rules for the crack testing of the oil pumping rods, and finally did some developments for the actual Auto N.D.T. equipments.Comparing the merits and demerits of the different kinds of the N.D.T. technologies, we finally choose the testing method of magnetic flux leakage, and develop the Auto N.D.T. System For the Oil Pumping Rods using the detecting magnetic coil. With so many high scientific and technical payoffs, the Auto N.D.T. System is the medium integral mechanical and electronic equipments.As far as we know, there are few equipments using magnetic flux leakage N.D.T. technology, for the cracks of oil pumping rods. Most researches are limited in digital analogue and calculation. The research and developments of the Auto N.D.T. system especially chose the detecting magnetic coil, which is one of the most mature detecting facilities, did a lot of fatigue experiments against the features of the cracks of the oil...
