This thesis divides into three aspects. In this paper, we describe the synthesis and fluorescent property of some novel benzothiazoyl pyrazoline compounds containing aromatic heterocycle, 4,6-disubstituted pyrimidines derivants and 1,8-naphthalimide derivatives containing schiff base moiety.Firstly, we synthesized a series of novel benzothiazoyl pyrazoline compounds containing aromatic heterocycle. Their absorption and photoluminescence in chloroform solution were studied. They all have strong fluorescence, and the emission bands were about 450 nm. On the other hand, we investigated their recognition properties to metal ions,it was found that 1-(2-benzothiazole)-3-(2-thiophene)-2-pyrazoline derivatives showed specific fluorescent behavior toward the Zn2+ ion among divalent transition metal ions.Secondly, we describe the synthesis and fluorescent property of some novel 4,6-diaryl-2-pyrimidine schiff bases using 4,6-diaryl- pyrimidine-2-ylamines and aromatic aldehydes. The fluorescences of them showed that they had blue light emission.Thirdly, we synthesized some 1,8-naphthalimide derivatives containing schiff base moiety and studied their UV and fluorescence. It was found that these compounds in acetonitrile could be observed different colors in diverse pH condition. These compounds could serve as novel fluorescent pH sensors for further application.
