Whitening And Durable Press Finishing Process Of Cotton Woven Fabrics Contained Polyurethane Elastic Fiber

The paper analyzed pretreatment process of cotton woven fabrics contained polyurethane elastic fiber according to the structure and property of polyurethane elastic fiber and indicated that the key step of pretreatment is heat-setting.The paper analyzed the whitening finishing of cotton woven elastic fabrics with acid resisted optical brightener. It discussed the technique factors such as the effect of pH value on optical brightener, acid resist property of whitened fabrics, the effect of cure time and cure temperature in detail and optimized two suitable optical brighteners for cotton woven fabrics contained polyurethane elastic fiber.In the last part of this paper, it discussed durable press finishing of cotton fabrics contained polyurethane elastic fiber with 1,2,3,4-butanetetracarboxylic acid(BTCA) .After analyzing the technique factors, an optimized recipe was gained. The finished goods have a wrinkle recovery angle of 275 ° in dry state,which is higher than the control sample of 180° .It has evidently good durable press effect. But the finished goods has some strength loss.
