This paper has studied the spinning and structure properties of regenerated tussah silk fibroin fibers. Tussah silk fibroin protein was obtained by using 16M lithium thiocyanate solutions to dissolve tussah silk fibroin fiber at 50℃for 2 hours .The solution was dialyzed in a cellulose tube against water for 3days,then they were dried at room temperature to obtain the film. Dissolving the film in HFIP solution ,then obtained the regenerated tussah silk fibroin fibers spun by wet-spinning and heat treating .The result showed that the largest molecular weight of tussah silk fibroin solution dissolved in lithium thiocyanate solution, examined by SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis, was above 200kD. Seen from SEM, there was no significant difference between regenerated fibers and native fibers. X-ray diffraction indicated that the crystalline of regenerated fibers was lower than the native fibers. The results of FTIR, Raman spectrum, NUM spectrum indicated that regenerated fibers contained ?-sheet,α-helix and random coil conformation. The results of DSC showed that decomposition temperature of regenerated fibers was similar to native fibers. The breaking strength of regenerated fibers was 52.20 percent to native fibers. Both of them almost not degraded.
