Leaching is the process by which the soluble constituents are dissolved from a solid material into a fluid by percolation or diffusion. Thus, when the filled materials come into contact with liquid (including percolating rainwater, surface water, groundwater, and liquids present in the filled material), the constituents in the solid phase will dissolve into the liquid, which will pollute the surface water or groundwater, and endanger to human health. The important method to evaluate the possibility and degree of harm is leaching toxicity experimentation. The study about identification of hazardous waste and leaching method appears later in our country, and it only concerns about metals without involving toxic organic compounds. The standard of identification for extraction procedure toxicity is distempered, the methodology of leaching procedure is insufficient, and simulative conditions are ambiguity, so many hazardous waste can not been monitor and deposit. And then, the environmental polluting accidents take place repeatedly. The purpose of this paper is to find the leaching characteristics of contaminations in leaching factors, confirm the best leaching factors, and provide technique foundation for renewal of leaching method and scientifically administering hazardous waste in our country. In this case, we do this study as following:Firstly, we consulted many representative leaching methods and correlated report at home and abroad, and discussed their simulated environment, applied scope, some major experimental parameters, and methodological gaps.Secondly, by using the plating sludge as test sample, five standard leaching test...
