In this paper, aluminum casting alloy A357 and reflectal alloy LD10 is used. With different tempreture and velocity ration ,the mechanical behavior of A357 at thixotropy compression is researched .by this we can know the thixotropy property of A357 and by the metallurgical structure of A357 before and after reheating that we observed,we choose the suitable processing parameter for soleplate.after the soleplate is formed , the mechanical property at different condition is tested by testing machine, the result indicate that the strength is higher when the pressure is high,because the fluxion ability is increased instead, the elongation will be lower ,with heat treating ,we can obtain higher strength ,but the variable tendency of elongation at different pressure will not be clear .With LD10 , the soleplate is formed successfully and its mechanical property is also tested . the result indicate that use heat treating can increase the strength even the elongation fall a little . and the mechanical property is higher than that is formed by semi-solid thixtropy forging .it can meet the design demand .Last , we use commercial software deform to simulate the density change of soleplate at different feeding amount and the flow tendency of metal is also observed . the result indicate that use the feeding amount 6.5 mm can meet the require . it will provide reference for the form of soleplate .
