The superfine quartz powder is a sort of neutral Inorganic Fillers which is widely applied in plastic, rubber, rosin, dope, electron and other high and new-technology industries, the purity and granularity is required strictly in high and new-technology industries. This article is based on the item of science and technology office of Heilongjiang province, and a process parameters model is built and optimized.Firstly, the mechanism of the preparation of superfine quartz powder with ball mill is studied in this article, based on nature of quartz material, Griffith's strength theory and the crush theory of planetary ball mill. The problem of granulation during the process of the preparation of superfine quartz powder is studied minutely. And proposed increasing dispersant and disperser medium to restrain granulation, and dispersing use ultrasonic after milled. The best dosage of dispersant and disperse medium, and the best time of ultrasonic disperse.Secondly, the BP neural network process parameters model which describes the relationship between the important process parameters of the preparation of superfine quartz powder and the important evaluate guidelines was built, based on experimentation data. The forecast of the important guidelines was achieved with this model.Thirdly, the weight and threshold of BP neural network model was optimized by genetic algorithm(GA), which has stronger macroscopic search and global optimization property, based on BP network model of the preparation of superfine quartz powder. This model is named GA-BP, and improves the generalization capability and the parameters forecast precision of BP network model, and was proved to be correct by both theoretical analysis and experiment. This GA-BP network model was used to study the technological disciplinarian of the ball mill process.Lastly, the important guidelines of the preparation of superfine quartz powder was optimized based on GA theory.
