| The crude oil produced by Ta-ching oil-field earth, which lies in the cold region in the northeast of our country, belongs to the paraffinic oil. For many years the crystallization and deposition of n-paraffin has hampered the harvesting, transportation and processing of crude oil. So people in this oil-field have to heat the oil to insure it to be fluid. For every year, the cost of heating takes one third of the production value.By directing crude oil through a strong, permanent magnetic field, the growth pattern of paraffin and scale crystals is altered. This is propitious to reduce the temperature degree of heating, and retrench money. As a rule, for different crude oil with different component, the intensity of magnetic field which can get the best purpose is different. But the intensity of magnetic field in paraffin control systems in existence is always permanent. So when the component of the crude oil changed, the paraffin control system will be in invalidation.In this paper, the focus will be on the problem which has been stated previously. A novel paraffin control system with alterable intensity of magnetic field was designed to resolve the problem.
