The electroless composite plating has already got extensive application with advantage of low costs,simple craft,the symmetrical thickness of coating and even can plate largely etc. Because of the added solid particles most are micron rank, its performance can not satisfy the request of the high speed of developing of science and technology, the range of application to be limited. In recent years, along with the development of nanometer material and technology, it is raising the upsurge of researching the craft of electroless composite plating with nanometer particles in domestic and foreign. As we know, the performances of composite coating with nanometer particles are better than the composite coating with micron particles, but the nanometer material because its big relative surface proportion, the increase of superficial atomicity, insufficient of atomic coordinate, and the high surface energy, make these superficial atoms to have the higher activeness, they are extremely unstable and very easy to reunite with each other and become the big reunion body with some connection interphases. Therefore, in order to make the nanometer particles suspend evenly in the bath to obtain the composite coating of symmetrical distribution of nanometer particles, the question of disperse of nanometer particles appears important especially. So we studied systemi-cally to the dispersing of nanometer particles with surfactant and ultrasonic; study systemically to the mixed of surfactant, study the influence of the different disperser methods to the organization structure of coating with the scanning electron microscope.1) Study the influence to hardness value of coating before and after heat treatment with ultrasonic disperser craft. The result indicated that under the same craft condition, the hardness value of the coating with treatment of ultrasonic disperser are higher than no treatment of ultrasonic disperser and the nanometer particles also disperse evenly in composite coating.2) Study the non-ionic surfactant (polyethylene glycol),cationic surfactant (Cetyltrimethy lammonium bromide) and the anion surfactant (lauryl sulfate sodium) the influence to the hardness of composite coating and the disperser effect with single factor testing. The result indicated that, the single factor function of anion surfactant surpasses other two kinds in three kinds of surfactant, we can get the hardness value of composite coating are 805HV and 1593HV before and after heat treatment when anion surfactant is 60mg/L. The hardness values of three systems appear the phenomenon that the value cut down after increasing with the increasing of accession quantity of surfactants.3) We adopt two factors five levels quadratic rotator orthogonal combination method to design testing, study the influence to performance and the disperser effect of coating with the non-ionic surfactant complex separately with cationic surfactant and anion surfactant.
