Blade is the most quick-wearing part in the shot blasting machine, whose service life has great influences on utilization of alloy material, production efficiency of blast cleaning machine. Main failure forms of blade are cutting wearing and impact wearing; the action of impact stress deteriorates wearing process, and causes failure due to breaking of blade with microscopic crack and casting defect.The article research EPC (Evaporative Pattern Casting) manufacturing process, control factor, and technology comparative research on producing high Chromium antifriction cast iron with EPC and green sand casting technology, which applied aim to transform the shape distribution of carbide by process quality control and special processing plan (complex modification treatment) and make carbide shape to be distributed alone evenly in shape of strip (M7C3), the carbide is of high roundness and perpendicular to wearing surface to arrange which can impair the cutting action for basal body and improve the impact tenacity of blade. The residual austenite quantity can be decreased and basal hardness can be increased by heat treatment, thereby wear resistance can also be improved. In addition, in order to eliminate casting defects such as cold shut, slag inclusion, shrinkage hole, dispersed shrinkage, etc, refining grain can improve casting solidity, blade quality and service life.By large of research and analysis,the result is:Main reasons of failure forms of blade are carbide and metal style tiredness rupture and cut wearing. The blade produced by green sand casting chill craftwork has many foundry objections, and the rate of finished product is very low. Using complex alterative in reason is the key to improving blade's wearable, it is not only transform the shape distribution of carbide, but also thin the organization, improve the carbide's roundness after heat treatment, impair the cutting action for basal body and improve the impact tenacity of blade. The addition of Alterative RE-V-Ti should suitable (about 0.6%-0.8%). Evaporative pattern casting is a new craftwork that near no flash and molding exactitude. This craftwork is little investment, high produce efficiency, high inside quality, high dimension precision, high rate of finished product, etc. The blade by Evaporative pattern casting is better than that by sand mold casting in dimension precision, inside quality and surface quality. EPC makes the operation easy, reduce the 50% workload of chipping, grinding and repairing. The service life of blade used iron bolus in industry and mining can reach more 250 hours.
