There are a lot of processes of composite casting,with the sameness to integrate different capability material to content demand. To metallurgical equipnent working under impacing,abrasion and high temperature,refractory steel material or hard wearing material are selected usally.But sometimes one only material is difficult to work under the adverse circumstence.Common steel material has well obdurability, but it is difficult to content demand because of the relatively poor wear resistance and heatproof property.If high alloy material adopped,process engineering is difficult to control, bug and low-level yield is available, followed with high cost.Vice visa, at same time casting surface alloying can bring well obdurability in the center and special property on the surface.In this paper the pivotal complication affecting casting surface alloying is studied. And the appropriate surface alloying process is put forward to improve the hard wearing and thermostability.Uusing YB molding impregnant instead of water glass or colophony binder,with the advanced EPC casting process,the problems of air-vent and slag inclusion.are improved. It is simple and dependable to place alloying powder block. Body material is common casting steel and alloying layer is high chromium with Mo,Ni and WC.Alloying layer and body is integrated well by metallurgy. And the alloying layer with high Cr and W is obtained, alloying surface. Smooth. The body composition and hardness of section in certain thickness is smetrical.The alloying layer has well thermal wear resistance obviously, wear resistance 3-5 times as high as body material ZG70, oxidative stability improved 50%.The tyial-manufacter surface alloying guide has good effect.This surface alloying process can be used to produce compesite in casting penetration of SiC, Al2O3,TiC and so on.
