The domestic first underground microseismic monitoring test in LUXI coal mine has been succeed with the microseismic monitoring instruments which made by the ShanDong University of Science and Technology. A Large of microseismic events have been recorded in the test. After signal processing and interpreting the position of microseismic events have been confirmed. This paper analyzed the relation between the microseismic events and the failure mechanism of above strata and studied the movement law of above strata and determined height of the pervious fissure zone in Luxi coal mine.By further analyzing as things are in LuXi coal mine, there obtained the above strata moving law as following: The "O" type space structure formed in the condition of two-side is entity pillar and the terrene is non-sufficiency exploiting. The "S" type space structure formed in the condition of one-side is entity pillar one-side is goaf, and the minimum exploiting size is 270.00-300.00 meter. It's nearly the 345m, so that the terrene is sufficiency exploiting. in the condition of sufficiency exploiting the proper height of the pervious fissure zone is 25 ± 5 meter in LuXi coal mine by monitoring and the counting prediction and consulting other mine right round. This conclusion offered gist in theory for increasing the height of exploiting. Otherwise the underground microseismic monitoring test in LuXi coal mine offered technique and experience in the future.
