Titanium matrix composites (TMCs) is one of the compound material which has many kinds of outstanding performance. The research and development about TMCs which has the weight lightly, the specific tenacity high and anti-corrosive has the vital significance to our country economic development. But the cost is very high and the manufacture difficulty that is enormous influence its application and promotion. In order to reduce the TMCs's production cost, various countries all in unceasing exploration new craft and new method, the powder metallurgy (PM) is model in a series of results. The PM is one kind intimate clean moulded craft, the material use factor high and prepares the alloy organization is even moreover the pellet strengthens the granularity and the volume score may carry on the adjustment in comparatively wide range. The PM could prepare the high performance and the low cost through the optimized craft which has the obvious cost superiority.This article is the Ministry of Education science and technology research key project "the high strength titanium alloy base compound material development machine performance analysis" (the project serial number: 02011) main content. This article main research content includes:1. According to the existing industry condition, has formulated the economical TMCs craft route, TMCs prepared by attrition ball milling, cold isostatic pressing and vacuum-sintered power metallurgy techniques in the industrial conditions.2. Carries on physics machine capability test and so on. Three-point bending strength, elasticity coefficient and degree of hardness to the preparation titanium base compound material. The analysis takes shape the temperature, the heat treatment and the formula to the titanium base compound material physics machine capability influence.
