The paper analyses systematacially pheological property ofpolyacrylamide solution and pheological property flowing through porousmedia by the means of experimental study of the rheological property andperformances of Polymers flowing through porous media. It arrives at aconclusion that polyacrylamide solution possesses characteristics ofviscoelastic fluid and is viscoelastic fluid. And the paper analyses thefactors of rheological property of polymer solution and come to aconclusion that there are many factors like solution concentration, watersalinity, temperature, core permeability and polymericular weightaffecting rheological property of polymer solution. Through analysing andcontrasting laboratory simulation flooding experiment and the results ofmicroscopic flooding simulation, the paper further perfects viscoelasticpolymer solution improvement of flooding mechanism, and gives therelationships between viscoelasticity of polymer solution and value offlooding efficiency. Using the rheometer to calibrate the rheological property of polymersolution, the author analyses and contrasts the results of experience andcome to a conclusion that solution concentration, water salinity, temperature and polymericular weight affect the rheological property ofpolymer solution. The author also analyses and studies the rheological property andpermeability of polymer solution flowing through porous media and throughdrawing curves of the rheological property of polymer solution, and we cansee that the apparent viscosity of polyacrylamide solution increases withshear rate. And meanwhile water salinity, temperature and polymericularweight affect the rheological property of polymer solution.By the means of laboratory simulation flooding experiment of boresamples and contrasting the same viscosity of polyacrylamide solution andthe incremental value of recovery ratio with xanthan gum solution afterflooding, the author comes to a conclusion that the value of recovery ratiowith polyacrylamide solution is higher than that with xanthan gum solution, and finds out the difference is the result of the elastic effect ofpolyacrylamide solution, and gives the relationships of primary normalstress difference and the incremental value of flooding, the elastico-viscosity and the incremental value of flooding, and finds out that theincremental value of flooding increases with primary normal stressdifference. Through experimental studies and analysis of the effects ofsolution concentration, water salinity, polymericular weight, injectionrate and core permeability to efficiency of displacement, and so they do.
