Virtual CNC Milling Machine Process Simulation System

The main conten of the research is to build a really NC Milling Machine environment in computer and to simulate machining process. Author analyzed the crucial technologies and the architecture of virtual manufacturing .Have narrated the principle of building the virtual numerical control machine tool mould and the control technology related to it. On the virtual numerical-control machine tool we built, realized the function of the movement control of each axle of machine tool, program showing, NC program code compile, information showing and so on. Have realized the most basic function of a machine tool of numerical-control system.According to its function of NC machine, a framework of Virtual NC Milling Machine is built and it is divided into several function modules . The Virtual NC Milling Machine is separated into five main parts: geometrical module, virtual control panel, moving module, system parameter and state check module, compile NC program code module °Geometrical module adopt third party software 3D Studio Max to realize the complex geometrical model. Tool path geometrical model and workpiece geometrical model developed on the OpenGL platform.Control panel use ActiveX control to realize its element. After analyse machine moving and cutting moving, we realize all of moving, compile module conformed the internation - nal ISO standards on the NC code, syntax examination and explanation on the NC program code is realized, the information of err is also given. NC tool position file which NC compile program uses for simulation data. System parameter adopt Access database to manage.The production of the research has applied teaching practice, reflection of all sides is all right.
