The main typical Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chlorides(CPVC) chlorinated in a water suspension but at the different chlorine level have been searched out, then some studies, such as the percentage of chlorine, molecular structure, molecular weight and its distribution, exterior and interior microstructure, the size of the granule and the distribution, thermal property and processing characteristics have been investigated. Different factor has different influence. The analysis between molecular structure, thermal property and processing characteristics has been discussed and some results have been given. Some structural characteristics including tthe percent and distribution of-CH2-,-CHCl-, -CCl2-containing sequences, the chlorine contents of the granule s surface, the ratio of chlorine and carbon in granule s surface are the main factors influencing the thermal property of CPVC. When there are more -CCl2-containing sequences, CPVC has the better thermal property.
