The limestone mine of Yata cement company in Jilin Province containing high percent of SiO2. Usually, these parts of mineral stones are discarded as mullock because of its disadvantageous influence on familiar materials. So, there is a great deal of mineral removal of the mine annually, which caused the cost increment of the limestone opencast and wasted a great deal of limestone resources. This dissertation discovered that the high silicon limestone matches cement familiar materials request for cement production by analyzing the rock mutually and the crystal structure. The experiments results showed the low level of limestone replacement of the high level limestone in new stem method kiln adapt to the technique requests for familiar material quality by optimizing the components of material and modify the parameter during cement production. During the routine production of mineral, it is a strong guarantee for cement quality to control the high level silicon mine quantity in a science management method. The other experiment result showed that after calcination at 1450℃ the content of f-CaO was far below of 1.5%, during the high level silicon mineral, from unmatched mine bed, used for produce of low alkali cement. The two tested methods were good enough for high level silicon mineral material in cement production though there are differences between them. Considering control the alkali level of familiar materials, using the high level of silicon is a more reasonable method. The described techniques were valuable in utilization the high silicon mineral sufficiently, saving money in peel off the mineral, protecting mineral resource, preventing environment pollution, improving economy benefit of the company and the society.
