This disquisition aims at the trait and difficulty of screwthread detector.Based on laser probing DIPS technique,grating displacement inspecting technology,fine mechanics technology,computer real-time control and data processing technology,a photoelectric non-contact inspecting system for inspecting the inner and outer screwthread are presented.And then, the system was fabricated. The constitution,overall structure,inspecting principle,mathematics arithmetic,the cause of error and the ways of improving precision, analysis of error are described in this article.At first,this article brings forward detector technique based on laser optical triangulation displacement.Then the article depicts succinctly grating displacement inspecting principle, fine mechanism system.Following the details of signal acquisition unit,it depicts the data processing mathematics. In succession,the origin of system error and its influence on the precision of system inspecting are analysed.At last, the conclusion of error analysis is presented.Be capable of proof by experiments,the development of screwthread detector base on laser probing DISP technique is effective enough. At present,we have got the tooth depth, the screw pitch,the addendum angle and the screwthread taper.
