In recent years, the relationship of smoking and health is more concerned and anti-smoking campaign is springing up around the world. So how to reduce the content of harmful substance in tobacco has become one of key factors that concern rise and fall of tobacco trade. Therefore, the emphasis of scientific creativity in tobacco industry are foucused on the"reducing tar and toxicants in cigarette smoke", especially"reducing toxicants". Only the amount of harmful compounds in cigarette smoke was selectively reduced, the safety of the tobacco consuming can be improved. The scientific"reducing tar and toxicants in cigarette smoke"is supposed to be based on the quality and quantity analysis of chemical componds in cigarette smoke, especially the harmful ingredients and understanding their physiological and biochemical specialties. Nicotine is one of the most important toxicants in cigarette smoke Tobacco industry is of great importence in economy of my country at a certain time, by seeing the development of economy and community at present.Researching the cigarette of Chinese style with character of"high flavor and low harmfulness", improving the scientific characters of formulation of cigarette and enhancing the competitive capability of Chinese tobacco trade are taking on great significance with our country joining WTO. In this thesis, the related studies on the basis of extensive literature investigation are summarized in four respects as follows:1. A novel technique for the produce of pure-monopotassium-glvcvrrhizinate (PMG) after extracting crude glycyrrhizic-acid in the condition of microwave was proposed, the PMG was used for increasing sweet-smelling of cigarette.The technics condition of the whole process was optimized, and the purity and yield of the production were higher.2. The technics of distilling nicontine from the tobacco out of date in cigarette factory was optimized, the process of manufacture was reduced, and we gained higher purity and yield of nicontine.3. A new Piezoelectric Quartz Crystal (PQC) sensor for nicontine determination was set up, the PQC sensor had some strongpoints, such as, simplely preparation, good stabilization, wider linear range and lower detection limit.4. The function of computer tobacco assistant system was refilled, The database was built for the management and maintenance of new and old tobacco, the data was saved to compressed database after clustering,and shared the data with the functions else of this system.
