SnO2 is a multifunctional chemical material and widely used especially when it is fined into nanometer. But it is instability, because nanometer material has special effect. Thus nanometer grain will agglomerate spontaneously and lose its special effect. So it is important to study nanometer grain dispersant for its preparation, deposit and application.The agglomerate mechanism of nano-SnO2 powder was analyzed in this paper. And the controlling methods of nano-SnO2 powder agglomerates were summed up physically and chemically. The technology of the disperse and stability of nano-SnO2 in liquid phase was studied in this experimentation, as well as the influence of those parameters such as the mode of dispersion, the types of dispersants and the adding amount, PH value and the time of dispersion on the effect of dispersion. The optimized parameters for experiment could be obtained by the observation result of TEM, laser diffraction granularity apparatus, nanometer laser granularity apparatus and sedimentation experiment.At the same time, the application of nano-SnO2 was studied. The nano-SnO2 intermingled with the Sb to prepare ATO conduction powder. The optimal adulterant amount and the optimal temperature of calcine were obtained via experimentation. Then the ATO conduction film was prepared with ATO powder and E-51. At last we compared the conduction capacity between the ATO thin film prepared with gel-sol and the E-51 thin film.
