Oligomeric surfactants make an important breakthrough in the aspect of enhancing the surface activity, open a new way for the practical application, has the commercial value extremely, for this, it has become the contact surface and the colloid chemistry research hot spot. There are many reports about the synthesis process of this kind of surfactant , but only few kinds can be industrialize . To promote the application and promotion of this kind of novel surfactant in domain of industry and daily life, this article use the inexpensive raw material and the environment friendly industry route, synthesized the new quarternary ammonium salt-type trimeric cationic surfactant,citrictriesters ofri(dodecyldimethyl-2-hydroxypropane)ammonium chloride (CTTAC). Has studied the best synthesis process of CTTAC ;The characterization of the product with IR and 1HNMR was obtained,as well as the elementary analysis; then conducted the research on the CTTAC surface activity performance; Finally has carried on the determination of the CTTAC application performance.Concrete result as follows:1): Using the citric acid, epoxy chloropropane and dodecyl dimethylamine in the existence of isopropanol as solvent synthesized the new quarternary ammonium salt-type trimeric cationic surfactant,citrictriesters oftri(dodecyldimethyl-2-hydroxypropane) ammonium chloride (CTTAC). Obtains the good craft condition is that when the citric acid and the dodecyl dimethylamine and epoxy chloropropane molar ratio is 1.00: 3.00: 3.05, the reaction temperature is 85 ℃, the reaction time is 12 h, the solvent isopropanol amount is 33.5 times of citric acid, receiving rate under this condition of goals products CTTAC is 93.10 %.2): The cmc and cmc were characterized by the means of surface tension and the conductivity method as well as the stable state fluorescence probe method . Compared CTTAC with the tradition surfactant lauryl trimethyl ammonium bromide the cmc value approximately is its 1/45, is 1/4 of the double lauryl surface active...
