Dual function gas water-heater is a household-based small heat supply equipment that derives from Europe. Its energy comes from the burning of gas fuel, such as natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and city gas. It can supply domestic hot water and circulation hot water for heat supply for a family. It has advantages of small volume, lightweight, easy to install, expediency to use and no occupation. Room temperature can be adjusted in accordance with user's need freely, and people only need to pay his share. This can meet people's need much more. In these years, many water-heater manufacturers of our country begin to introduce foreign technology and launch their products. Energy policy, environment development and market require of our country are beneficial to dual function gas water-heater, that give dual function gas water-heater a chance to develop.Nowadays, dual function gas water-heater turns into the application extensively in the market of China, especially north China. Through several years application, the hardware of this product is coming to be maturity and stable, but the development of the software, especially temperature control algorithm, falls behind. For the present, Human Simulating Intelligent Control(HSIC) algorithm has been used effectively in some thermo-system, and through the application of the product of Chengfa Jubao company about 1 year, it was proved that HSIC algorithm was well effective and stable for the system in some extent about bath water flow. Otherwise when bath water flow change violently, the control quality of HSIC algorithm become intensely worse than before. Consequently, for the heater popularization, it is very necessary to ameliorate the former HSIC temperature control algorithm to the gas water-heater system for the control effectiveness.Based on the model experiments of bath water process, we got the fundamental characteristic of the object model of heater system in this paper. Considering the result of model experiments and the users'requirement to temperature control, HSIC temperature control algorithm was modified to dual function gas water-heater. Especially, the algorithm was modified to the value control process. The simulation experiment result of the value control process proved that the modified algorithm is more adaptive to the process than former.
