Down coiler is one of the most important equipment for coiling strip in the hot strip milling line. And the hydraulic automatic jump system, also call AJC system, is an important part of modern coiling machine. It is a complicated system that integrated with electromechanical & hydraulic.Beginning of studies about the AJC system by domestic steel enterprises is later than others countries and most of equipments used in domestic steel enterprises were imported and in-depth studies about the equipments is relatively less. It has great economic benefit and social benefit to design, apply and maintain this equipment. So, domestic steel enterprises must have the ability to design the machine. Under the circumstance, China National Erzhong Group Co. took on research together with Chongqing University to solve fundamentally the basic design problem for AJC system and making idea and principle of the design clear and affording theoretic and technical supports to the domestically produced design of these equipments. This study puts emphasis upon three parts.â‘ Dynamics analysis of the mechanical model: To obtain natural frequency and mode of mechanical structure, and making diagnosis of resonance effect between the mechanical structure and load. So modal analysis, instantaneous analysis and frequency response analysis have put into the wrapper, and both of the extent to frequency of load couple to the structure and stress of the structure are obtained. From the result, we can judge that stiffness ratio of mechanical is large.â‘¡The work of characters analysis and optimization of the hydraulic system is, to study the structure of AJC control system, build mathematic model,take dynamic simulation, to ensure the system smooth-work and quick-response. Effect of main parameters to the system performance is analyzed. Dynamic characteristic of AJC system is improved and deviation between expectation value and actual value was turned down through adding control system adjustment ways, PID etc. The visual simulation software is made at last, which advantages engineers'design efforts about design and analyze. Engineer can design quickly the main compose of the large strokes length AJC system, such as hydraulic cylinder, servo valve, pressure sensor, and it's technical parameter with the simulation software.â‘¢Co-simulation of the electromechanical & hydraulic system: 3D model of the mechanical model is made in SOLIDEDGE, and exported to ADAMS for dynamics analysis, and building hydraulic & control model in MATLAB/Simulink, and then...
