The treatment of Municipal solid waste includes landfill,compost and incineration。With the development of economy and land resources getting less and less, incineration are being a tendency of treating MSW.Fly ash is regarded as a kind of hazardous waste by the nation catalog of hazardous waste which some leach heavy metals and dioxins are perhaps contained in. At present, about 15,000 tons of MSW is disposed by incineration, and fly ash is produced about 600 tons. The hazard of fly ash is obtained more attention and stability/solidity of fly ash has been a crucial study.Incineration is adopted later to treat MSW in our country than other area, and by-product from incineration is studied later too. In recent years, with the growth of incineration plants, outcome of fly ash is increasing quickly and the study of fly ash is being reinforced. The way of refuse treatment includes landfill treatment,cement solidity/stability,melting solidity and chemical stability , etc . Most of fly ash is disposed by landfill, which will be changed little by little. Cement solidity/stability is used to treat fly ash in general developed area. Better way is being studied because volume of cement solidity product increase more than that of fly ash not treated. And the cost of melting solidity is too expensive to afford for most undeveloped area.This paper analyze physical and chemical characters of ash fly , which indicts that rate of water content is 4 percent ,that specific surface is big and that heavy metals is leach. At the same time, the leach characters of heavy metals are effected by many factors, such as PH value of solution and oxidation-reduction potential,etc. The study analyze the behaviors of Cu,Zn,Pb,Cr , and find that the Zn and Pb in the leach of MSWI fly ash exceed the country standard .so , the solidification of two heavy metal will be considered .and the leach laws of heavy metals are quested for in the different conditions , which available agents will be chosen on the base of and look for a better match of medical to stabilize fly ash .The technique is reliable that MSWI fly ash is solidified by cement. The study compares two technique, and find that they possess their own merits and disadvantages. Medical solidity of MSWI is studied, which will supply the reference for late study.
