With the improvement of people's living standard and the acceleration of living rhythm, the demand of drying of the fabric clothes is increasing accordingly. But at present, there are two main shortcomings in the method of hot air drying, which is widely used in armies, factories, hotels, hospitals, laundries and other public services: the one is the high inflation cost caused by serious wasting of energy; the other one is the long drying time with asymmetric results. Obviously, this kind of method cannot satisfy the people's needs. So, in order to achieve higher drying quality with lower cost of energy and shorter drying time, it is necessary to bring forward a new kind of drying method. In this paper, vacuum microwave drying technique to dry fabric clothes is put forward, which is not broadly used in the field of clothes drying, but was proved feasible by academic research and applications, and can possess of wide marketable foreground. So, this papercontains the following aspects.Phenomenon of the gas punching through. In the low air pressure environment, thephenomenon of the gas punching through will come into being in the process of the vacuum microwave drying. It not only damages the samples, but also damages the experimental equipment casually. In this paper this phenomenon is analyzed theoretically, and finally the best vacuum degree in correspondence with different microwave power is found out to avoid this Phenomenon. The development of the experimental equipment. In order to do the experimental research work of vacuum microwave drying of fabric clothes, a vacuum drying apparatus for experimental researching is manufactured based on a microwave oven, and the drying experiments are done with it according to the topic.Phenomenon of coagulation of the water vapor. During the process of drying, the water vapor can coagulate inside the apparatus if the vapor is not drown out timely by the vacuum system. In order to avoid this phenomenon, in this paper the relationships among many...
