The following contents are included in this thesis: 1, the synthesis of macrocyclic complexes of lanthanide and their chemical behavior were studied; 2, the triamido complex of ytterbium was synthesized and its catalytic activity for Tishchenko reaction of aldehydes was examined; 3,The catalytic activity of homoleptic guandinate complex of lanthanide for Tishchenko and cyclotrimerization of benzonitrile was first tested. The main results obtained are as follows:1,Two of binuclear macrocyclic complexes of lanthanide ( 1 and 2 ), ([μ2-{(±)-trans-1,2-(NSiMe3)2-cyclohexane}]2[YbCl(μ2-Cl)LiCl(THF)3]22THF (1) ;[μ2-{(±)-trans-1,2-(NSiMe3)2-cyclohexane}]2[NdCl(μ2-Cl)LiCl(THF)3]2 2THF (2) ) ,were prepared by the reaction of anhydrous trichloride lanthanide and (±)-trans-1,2-(NLiSiMe3)2-cyclohexane and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction as well. The further reactions of 1 and 2 with a variety of reagents were investigated and no desired products were isolated.2,[Ph(Me3Si)N]3Yb(THF) was synthesized and its catalytic activity for Tishchenko reaction of aromatic aldehydes was tested. It was found that the complex shows good activity and the activity depends on aldehyde used.
