Researching Of A Series Of Formulations For The Low Smoke And Low Haloge Flame Retardant Rubber Cable Material For Coal Mining Purposes

In this paper, it summarized the development of the low smoke and low haloge flame cable of interal and overseas, the present conditions of the cable for coal mining purposes in china, analyzed the kinds of flame-retardants> characters and flame-retardant principle. We conducted a contrast test to the rubber flame retardant cable for coal mining purposes in present and the low smoke and low haloge flame retardant rubber cable for coal mining purposes, and elaborated the inevitable tendency of using and researching the low smoke and low haloge flame retardant cable for mining purposes by analyzing datas and dicussing results.In this paper, it used EPDM and CSM as insulation and oversheath, used Al(0H)₃ and Mg(OH)₂ as flame-retardants, sour and smoke suppression — they combined by 1:1, elaborated some rubbers' technology conditions, annalyzede the influnces to the machanicsN flame-retardant and low smoke and low haloge characters of the materials when using a single flame-retardant — A1(OH)₃ or Mg(0H)₂ or a combined flame-retardant — Al (0H)₃ and Mg(OH)₂, analyzed the influnces to the materials' characters when using different diameters of Al(0H)₃ and Mg(OH)₂, analyzed the synergistic reaction of Al(0H)₃ and Mg(0H)₂, and researched many series of formulations for the low smoke and low haloge flame retardant rubber cable material for coal mining purposes. By testing many samples and cables, and comparing the characters with the rubber flame retardant cable for coal minning purposes in present , we determined a better series of formulation of the low smoke and low haloge flame retardant rubber cable material for coal mining purposes.
