BL-formaldehyde absorptive reagent independently developed by Beijing Forestry University can be made use of to produce environment-friendly blockboard with low formaldehyde emission. This research focuses on the development of BL-formaldehyde absorptive reagent, its effect on formaldehyde emission of blockboard, and its mechanism and proper method of application. Its main purpose is to reduce formaldehyde emission of blockboard and avoid debasing its physical and mechanical properties. Partner UF resin and optimum technics and parameter will be found through experiments. And the feasibility of BL-formaldehyde absorptive reagent's application to industrial production methods is probed in order to bring some economic, social and environmental benefit. The results show that:(1) BL-formaldehyde absorptive reagent is coMPatible with UF resin, and the pH value and viscosity of UF resin added with the reagent could meet the requirement for production.(2) BL-formaldehyde absorptive reagent can effectively reduce the formaldehyde emission of blockboard. Generally the effect is especially obvious by adding about 10% reagent into UF resin, and over 50 percent of formaldehyde will be eliminated normally. Further more, the more BL-formaldehyde absorptive reagent is mixed into UF resin, the less formaldehyde is emitted.(3) Both formaldehyde emission, bonding strength and transverse static bending strength will be satisfied when optimum technics and parameter are realized. While, different UF resin needs different technics. Through orthogonal experiment(BL-formaldehyde absorptive reagent + Tai'er WG2215 UF resin), the optimum technologic parameters of producing environment-friendly blockboard are...
