A series of Mg-Cr-O, Fe-Cr-Oand Co-Cr-O three system chrome-containing composite oxides catalysts were prepared by sol-gel using glucose as complex agent, solid state reaction , micro-emulsion and azeotropic distillation method and the catalyst with high catalytic activity for methane combustion and best preparing method be selected. Then catalysts Mg-Cr-A-O, Mg-Cr1.5Al0.5-O and Mg-Al-O are prepared by sol-gel method and compared with Mg-Cr-O catalyst to study the effects of doping Al.on performance of methane catalytic combustion over Mg-Cr-O catalyst .Meantime, the catalyst Mg-Cr-O prepared by sol-gel was dryed by infrared drying method , vaccum drying method and general drying method respectively,to study the effects of different drying method on methane catalytic combustion of catalyst Mg-Cr-O.The structure and catalytic properties were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, XPS, TEM, H2-TPR, BET and catalytic activities for the combustion of methane. It is shown that the catalyst Mg-Cr-O prepared by sol-gel, solid state reaction , micro-emulsion were showed higher catalytic activity for methane combustion than...
