The electrode E4303 which is developed earliest time and used at most is general low carbon steel welding electrode.With the development of society and economy, market competition is drastic day by day, present manufacture ask the E4303 to new application, traditional product is not suit to the new situation. Therefore, the development of new style E4303 has become the focus of study in welding material field. In this paper, according to the development of domestic and foreign like products, based on the quality improving , social and Environmental benefit. Study systematically in aspects such as materials, physical behavior of arc and microstructure of acid slag contained Ti..Through analyse the high speed wire rod LH08A,it is found that bulk metasilicates exist in it and percentage composition of N2 is 8 times as more as traditional H08A.After theory analyse and practice experiment ,it is discovered that : it is feasible that manganese-silicon used in acid low carbon steel welding electrode, silicon can promote manganese's transition and decrease the welding spatter; if titanioferrite and arenaceous quartz mix properly, slag detachability is very good, and content of Fe don't increace obviously.The most effective approach to improving restrike of arc property is to make its sleeve can conduct electricity. Through X-Ray analyse the phase of slag, there are many nonstoichiometric compound Fe2MnTi3O10 in it. Fe2MnTi3O10 formed under reducing atmosphere contains positive hole V0¨ and surplus electron e′. That is the ultimate reason for slag's electric conductivity. The relationship of slag's electric conductivity with temperature was measured by rectifier filter, and find it is similar to semicon's. In order to assure that arc can burn stably under low open-Circuit voltage, it is essential that increasing chemical reaction heat and increasing K ,Na ion concentration in the arc. In a word, making the proportion of stabilizing agent , gas-forming agent and slagging agent proper can prevent arc instability effectively.Analytical instrument such as optical microscope,X-Ray,TEM,electron probe are employed to analyze slag's microstructure.
