Due to the strong hydrophilicity of chitosan, the application of chitosan membrane was limited. In this paper, PA-130, PA-170, PA6 and EC was introduced as the second polymer component to hydrophilic CS membrane material. The miscibility of chitosan blends were investigated.We hope that we can do more experiment , and get rules between polymers. The main contents of this dissertation consist of the following points:1. The general situation of membrane separation technology and the research progress of CS membrane materials were introduced. After reviewing a lot of literature, CS was selected as the second polymer component to hydrophilic CS by solution blend.2. The miscibility of CS blends in formic acid was characterized by solubility parameter, dilute solution viscometry, refractive index and glass transition temperature, FT-IR etc. The result indicated that CS blend system was miscible.3. After experiment of contact angle, we found that hydrophilicity of CS/PA-130, CS/PA-6 reduced.4. CS/PA-130 CS/PA-170 CS/PA-6 CS/EC membrane material were prepared by means of solution blend L-S phase transit. We study their miscibility by DSC solution viscometry refractive index and FT-IR. The result indicate that CS blend system was miscible.5. Testing CS and its alloy membrane materials by means of TG, we found the heat stability of the alloy membrane materials enhanced.We use chitosan as the membrane materials which is very cheap and has better property. It can be prepared as polymer alloy easily. We hope it has a abroad future.
