Nylon 11 is a kind of engineering plastics having good comprehensive property. Because of expensive price, its application is definitely restricted. Blending is an effective means of improving properties, reducing cost and developing new species.In the course of study, compatible agent (PE-MAH) is prepared firstly. The factors that affect on graft ratio are discussed. The factors include reactive temperature, reactive time, the dosage of initiating agent and the dosage of maleic anhydride etc.. The optimum reactive condition and the optimum reactive compounding formula are gotten. The alloys of PA11/PE-MAH/PE and PAH/ EPDM-MAH / PE-MAH /PE areprepared. Through the mechanical property study, the optimum reactive compounding formula is confirmed. It is discussed in detail that each factor affects on the mechanical property and aging property of alloy materials.Under the condition of their tensile strength being kept, impact strength of the prepared alloys increases 5-8 times and the cost of the alloys reduces 26% comparing to pure nylon 11.Differential thermal analysis (DSC) indicates that acid-anhydride reacts withamidogen in nylon 11 to form chemical bond and boost up bonding strength of interface.Morphological structure analysis indicates that the addition of PE-MAH inducessurface tension, makes phases uniformity, enhances bonding strength of interface andimproves compatible property.Through the study of rheological property on the alloy materials, the article research result provides a reliably experimental evidence for moulding technology and instructs practical produce.
