The inorganic non-metallic materials were developed from the traditional silicate material since 1940 with the modern science and technology development. It is the general designation of all materials except for the high polymer materials and the metal ones. The emergency of the nonmetallic material has made great contribution for the progress of society's civilization.Porcelain enamel belongs to the inorganic nonmetallic material, it is one kind of compound materials, which was coated on the metal surface and burned under high temperature. Its surface is smooth with good corrosion resistance. It has the intensity and the extensibility properties of the steel as well as the merit of the glass, such as bearing the acid or alkali corrode, easy to be cleaned and so on. They are applied to substrates for different purposes, e.g. improving corrosion resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, radiation resistance, barrier property, aesthetics, and so forth.Low-temperature enamel means its melting temperature is lower than 800℃. Practice has proved that using low-temperature frit can save energy, it can reduce the intensity of the enamel body to be burned into out of shape, and it also can improve product quality as well as reduce the thickness of the enameled steel to lower costs prominently. Additionally, low-temperature can lengthen lifetime of the muffle stove, thrift maintenance cost and improve workers' condition of operating. The application of porcelain enamel glass powders via electrostic spraying has become increasingly popular in the home appliance industry worldwide since it was first introduced in this country nearly 30 years ago. This technology is superior to the traditional wet process in many aspects because of its: (i) excellent coating uniformity; (ii) maximum efficiency of material usage and minimum waste generation; and (iii) great savings in energy and labor cost. This dissertation aimed at developing inorganic non-metallic materials, and their relevant performances were characterized by many methods. The main content is summed up as follows:(1) Adhering to the principle of saving the energy, saving the cost and raising...
