Painting refers to coating a protective layer on the surface of industrial products with paint,which is a very important part of the manufacturing process.Electrostatic powder spraying refers to a coating method that uses electrostatic action to make powder coatings adsorb to the surface of the workpiece,and then forms a coating on the surface of the workpiece after hightemperature heating.Electrostatic powder spraying is widely used in spraying manufacturing because of its advantages such as high production efficiency,environmental protection,and simple process.At present,the electrostatic powder spraying equipment used by most domestic small and medium-sized spraying manufacturing enterprises has a low degree of automation,which results in damage to the health of spraying workers,the quality of spraying is not guaranteed,and the production efficiency is low.Therefore,this paper designs and develops a cost-effective automatic electrostatic powder Spraying system for the coating line in view of the above problems.The system realizes the automatic control of static electricity and airflow parameters of electrostatic spraying through the electrostatic spray gun controller,realizes the automatic spraying of different types of workpieces on the coating line through the reciprocating spraying machine and the spraying robot,realizes the monitoring and management of the system parameters through the host computer software,and can automatically switch the parameters for different types of workpieces.The system structure can be divided into three layers,namely the field equipment layer,real-time control layer,monitoring and management layer.The main work of this paper includes the following:(1)Combined with the actual electrostatic powder spraying work scene of the coating line,the system requirements were analyzed,and the overall design plan of the system and the specific design plan of each part of the system were proposed.Completed the design of the system's overall hardware structure and system spraying process.(2)According to the system design plan,the hardware design of the system's electrostatic spray gun controller,reciprocating spraying machine,spraying robot and PLC electrical circuit is completed.(3)Based on the system hardware design,the design of the electrostatic spray gun controller embedded software,PLC software and host computer software is completed.Among them,the communication between the electrostatic spray gun controller and the PLC is realized based on the MODBUS protocol,and the communication between the PLC and the host computer is realized using the OPC technology.(4)Finally,the implemented system function modules are tested and analyzed to verify the feasibility of the system.This paper provides a solution for an automatic electrostatic powder spraying system suitable for small and medium-sized spraying manufacturing enterprises,and verifies the feasibility of the system through theoretical analysis and experimental testing.It has certain reference significance for the research of the domestic automatic electrostatic powder spraying system.
