Ferrite substrates are indispensable miniaturized hard cores in some microwave devices, such as artificial, radar receiving system and microwave communication system. It is a new microwave part, it makes microwave devices highly integrate, makes volume greatly reduce, makes performance wide-range improve, it is widespread used in military and microwave system. at the same time, its quality will straight influence the performance of devices. In our country, the systemic study on precision manufacturing technology of microwave substrate has been vacant by now. Therefore, for meeting mass production task, to explore key ultra-precision machining technique and technology of microwave substrate is very important.In this dissertation, aiming at the structural characteristic and specification of ferrite substrate, the process flow is determined as: high efficiency ELID grinding—planetary lapping rough—fine grinding. Surrounded this, some researches have been done as follow:Firstly, high efficiency deep grinding experiments of ferrite have been done using ELID technology, the result proves that grinding surface quality is ensued, and then the productivity is consumedly raised using this technical; Secondly, The kinematics of the lapping of substrate is analyzed. A model of the planetary lapping machine is developed. On the basis of the model, the track of abrasive grains and the field of the relative velocity on the surface of the substrate are numerically simulated respectively the influence rule provide theoretical foundation for optimizing processing which the kinematical parameter acted on the substrates surface and the surface quality.Thirdly, grind rough and fine grinding experiments of ferrite have been done using double lapping machine, at the same time, orthogonal experimental method is adopted in order to study the influence rules of different technological parameters on grinding efficiency and surface quality .the optimum combination of various parameters and levels is obtained,then substrates are machining using these parameters, its qualification have exceeded specifications, and the...
