Processes of producing gasoline and LPG with dismutation catalyst used the light hydrocarbon as feedstocks were studied. The catalysts using HZSM-5 zeolite catalysts as carrier were modified by bringing in certain active components such as Zn, Ga, etc with conventional impregnation method and compared with these active components.The reaction was carried out on atmospheric pressure reactor using continuous flow fixed-bed and the effect of different modified metal and their loaded content had been studied in this paper. The results showed that there existed an optimum modified contents for each modifier, and the Zn/ZSM-5 of 1.5% modified contents was benefit to produce gasoline and LPG, the yield of gasoline exceeded 85% and the yield of aromatic hydrocarbon approached to 45%. The stability and activity of loaded 1.5% contents of Zn modified ZSM-5 which achieves the highest gasoline yield was investigated too. Its catalysis behavior kept in a high level after 1017 hours reaction, which underwent 5 times catalyst regeneration and 6 cycle reactions. Effect of reaction temperature, air velocity and the composition of feed on the catalysts performance were investigated too. The results showed the appropriate temperature of aromatization is 500℃, WHSV is 1.0 h-1.According to the experiment results, the pilot-plant scale was designed as 300kg/h and the capacity of catalyst was 370kg.The stability and regeneration of the catalyst was mainly studied. The single cycle reaction investigations showed that when the yield of liquid phase decreased from 90% to 86%, the content of aromatic hydrocarbon decreased from 38% to 30%.Under 8 cycle experiments (each cycle for 20-30 days and regeneration for 3-5 days) the results showed that the Zn/ZSM-5 of 1.5% modified contents still kept highly active, the yield of liquid phase was among 88%-92% ,the content of aromatic hydrocarbon among was 36%-39% and the gasoline octane number was among 87%-92%.
