Oil well produces associated gas more or less during production. The gas will effect the pump efficiency of deep well-pump, if the amount of the gas of oil well is large, even gas locking occurs.In order to reduce the influence of gas on oil pump , there are usually two methods to enhance the pump efficiency and the oil well output. One method is increasing the submergence to increase inlet pressure of the oil pump and reduce the influence of free gas on the pump; the other is using gas anchor to separate gas from liquid before the liquid enter the pump. The second method is used commonly.The principle of multicup isoflux gas anchor studied in the paper is based on the density difference of oil and gas. The degassing efficiency of gas anchor is improved through prolonging the residence time staying in settling cup of producing fluid of oil well. In order to guide the application of the multicup isoflux gas anchor in the oil field, the following contents are studied in this paper:Based on the method of dimensional analysis, the criterion equation of flow of gas/liquid two-phase flow through the multicup isoflux gas anchor is established. Multi-variety linear regression program is compiled using the least square method and the Gaussian elimination. With the corresponding flow parameters measured through field experiments and the criterion equation mentioned above, the correlation formula of degassing efficiency of flow of gas/liquid two-phase flow through the multicup isoflux gas anchor is obtained through the regression analysis using the program. The curves of the relation among the degassing efficiency and the residence time and production gas/oil ratio and the curves of the relation among the degassing efficiency and the residence time and the water cut are plotted using the correlation formula mentioned above. The changing rule of the curves are analyzed and the optimal values of the residence time are given.The results mentioned above can guide optimum of the number of the settling cup of the multicup isoflux gas anchor and get good effect in the application in the oil field.
