This paper analyzing from the development situation of casing damage in Xingbei Oilfield,based on the earthquake and fine geology research results in Xingbei area, using comprehensive development data and development geology analysis method, casing damages in oil layer and the non-oil layer interval are studied comprehensively and systematically, the forming mechanism of casing damage is recognized clearly, some adoptable treatment methods are taken, a set of casing prevention and treatment technology is formed. For the research of damages oil layer interval, the pore pressure of effective thickness interval and the high pressure layer in untabulated reservoir are computed quantitatively using logs information. High pressure layer is ascertained further, and main factors of casing damage in oil layer are determined by using fine geology research results, dynamic, static and comprehensive analysis. For the research of mass damages in the bottom of Nen II section, damages in Nen II section is judged by using the characteristic of formation lithology, cementing situation, the seal and reinforcement of faulted water injection wells and the mechanics principle. In this foundation, the reasonable injection pressure and preventing and controlling method of casing damage are studied and determined, which control better the speed of casing damage in Xingbei area,provid a solid foundation for preventing and controlling work of casing damage in the future.
