Research On Ecological Water Requirement For Yanhe Drainage Basin

Improvement and protection for eco-environment, and actualizing the strategy of sustainable development are our national policy. Water resource is quietly lack in our country; and water crisis is every serious, especially in arid area of china's West party, this cause a series of eco-environment problems.Shortages of water, water pollution and eco-environmental destruction have become main restrictive factor for our country's sustainable utilization of water resource and sustainable development of economy. And the phenomena about excess exploitation of water resource become commonplace, which lead to serious eco-environmental problems.Therefore, people pay intensive attention to the relation between water resource and eco-environment and sustainable utilization of water resource. Drainage basis is an intact and independent system that is composed of different ecological systems. Any changes in quality and quantity of water of drainage basis system all have some affects on the eco-environmental structure and function. So water quality and quantity of drainage basis closely associates with eco-environment.Water environment deterioration and eco-environment system degradation brought about by Run-off change because of Human activities arose research on eco-environmental water requirement. Research on ecological Water requirement is not a focus on hydrological research but foreland of geography in the future.According to the main water resource and ecological problems in the Yanhe drainage basis, this thesis discusses academic connotation and calculation method of ecological water requirement. At the same time, we count and analysis the quality of ecological water requirement on the base of so small Yanhe drainage basis in order to develop hydrology theory, connotation and research method as well as natural geography content research on water resource and water environment. Finally, by this way, it can provide valuable suggestions and opinions for eco-environment protection and sustainable water resource exploitation of water shed in China's north acrid and anti-acrid area.
