A series investigation and analyses about Gangnan reservoir , Huangpizhuang reservoir and their upriver drainage area are completed in this article. Which include water environment investigation and observation analyses, industrial pollution source investigation, living pollution source investigation agricultural pollution source investigation and water quality under natural background analyses. Based on the results, the following conclusions are achieved. Nitrogen and phosphor pollution of Gangnan reservoir and Huangpizhuang reservoir are mainly surface pollution source, and nitrogen and phosphor soil erosion under nature background is a main pollution source; the pollution in low water period is more seriously than that in high water period; nitrogen loss is in granule form and phosphor loss is in liquefiable form.According to above results, protection object to prevent and cure nitrogen and phosphor pollution of the two reserviors is given.
