Electroless nickel plating is widely applied in many fields due to its excellent performances. Now, more and more researches on electroless nickel platingg are focused on the new methods of the surface modification of the substrates. At present, the chemical pretreatments were usually performed by chromo acid etching and the radiation graft of plasma or UV, etc. The ways of pretreatment of the matrices are still studied and improved for the factors, such as the fatalness of acid, the operational convenience, the pollution of the environment and the expensiveequipments, and so on.A new exploring research is described for the electroless deposition of nickel-phosphorus by the use of polyacrylates, which are prepared by the solution polymerization on the volume basis, about acrylic acid(AA) 30%, butyl acrylate (BA) 15%, methyl methacrylate (MMA) 55% or 15%AA, methacrylic acid(MAA)10%, BA15% and MMA60%.
