Along with the modern industrial automation's development, the technology of survey, recognition and the control, based on the video image, developed, too. Computer technology, the mechanical and electrical project application technology and the digital image processing technology are consummating and developing ceaselessly. We combined the high velocity, the high accuracy, redundant reliable, the repeatability of computer and the human vision intellectual and abstract ability. The production and the application kind of the new technology, enormously liberated the human labor power, raised the production automation level, improved the humanity to live the present situation, has the extremely broad prospect of application.This paper designed the width of Board of intelligence measure and control system based on the video frequency image. The real-time image of the object displays on the computer monitor by the CCD camera and the digital image processing technology. At the same time the system carries on processing and the survey to the image. It proposed a new method of industrial non- contact type survey. The article mainly completed following several aspects research work:First, the paper established the overall research plan for the system. This system uses the high resolution industrial CCD camera. It can display the real-time photographs on the monitor, and input the video signal to the image gathering card. In the imagery processing system, the image gathering card carries on the decoding to the video signal, A/ D transformation, processing produces the image data transmits through the computer PCI bus to the memory in.Secondly, we compared and analysis typical imagery processing algorithm, carries on processing to the image by appropriate algorithm.Third, we use Visual C++ and Visual Basic, developed by Microsoft Corporation, to program. The software mainly includes following several aspects: Image gathering and screen demonstration; Imagery processing typical processing algorithm; Detection algorithm operation and the results demonstration; the input and output of analog and digital signals. The image gathering and demonstration module mainly displays and controls gathering images to the screen real time; The typical algorithm of imagery processing carries on processing by the menu function ways to the gathering image, and demonstration processing result.
