Based on the methods and achievements of corrosion and protection on metal components in nature environment abroad and at home, at the same time, the present status of corrosion and protection on oil production platform and pipeline in spillway area, this paper studied the corrosion and protection of oil production platform and pipeline in spillway area. The main issues were as follows:1 The research of corrosion for A3 steels of different parts in different regionsThe corrosion rates and morphologies of A3 steels in atmosphere,water and soil and essential indoor experiment were studied and the results showed that:(1) The corrosion rate of A3 steel was affected obviously by the factors of relative humility,temperature and alternation of dry and wet, and there were maximum corrosion rate values of A3 steels on influence factors of corrosion of flow velocity and water content of soil.(2) The corrosion characteristic of A3 steel in atmosphere,water,soil obeyed to power exponent law, and the interrelation coefficient was up to above 95%.(3) The corrosion rate of A3 steel in the interface between water and atmosphere and surface of soil was still increasing after a year exposure, but the corrosion products in the other zones inhibited the increase of corrosion rate.2 The research of more 10 different sort of adapted coatings of different parts in different regions2.1 Field exposure test and essential test in laboratoryThe more 10 different sort of adapted coatings of different parts in different regions were investigated and the better property adapted coatings showed that:(1) Atmosphere zone: Epoxy zinc-rich primer and acrylic polyurethane top coating, and IPN primer and acrylic polyurethane or chlorinated rubber top coating;(2) Interface of air-water: Epoxy zinc-rich primer and acrylic polyurethane top coating, and IPN primer and epoxy-coal tar pitch or IPN top coating;(3) Immersion water zone: IPN primer and epoxy-coal tar pitch or IPN top...
