BF raceway is an indispensable part of the reaction area to the blast furnace operation, moreover the internal physical and chemical reaction is very complex. Heat and mass transfer process will not only affect the combustion temperature and gas distribution before the tuyeres but also affect the slag formation and pig iron quality in cylinder furnace.Therefore, through raceway model tests and numerical simulation to study the distribution of material bed, the region of soft melt zone, deadman character and hot metal movement in BF is particularly important.Facing the trend of BF's enlargement of the world, based on the Chongqing steel's practice, and combined with the actual situation of the current studied, the paper analyse the whole physical and chemical reaction mechanism. The physical modeling and numerical simulation methods was used in this paper.The Paper include the following main points :(1) The paper proposed the academic background and significance of the topic and explained the BF raceway mechanism. The current situation and development trend of the field at home and abroad have done a review, and the main content of the paper have been proposed.(2) Coke particles in the high-temperature gas flow driven campaign swing, accompanied by physical and chemical reaction in raceway.Based on the cold gas-solid two-phase flow theory,a physical model was established for simulating the gas-solid flow in the hearth of BF, and the influence of the blast energy, material nature, bed height of material and process of bed descent to the raceway size was analysed.(3) Meanwhile, in order to analysing coal gas composition and the concentration distribution, a raceway cold model based on the similar theory was established, and the distribution of gas concentration field at the vertical section and horizontal section of the raceway was measured.(4) Using the commercial software FLUENT to simulate the flow velocity distribution,the gas pressure and the coal goas concentration distribution in raceway.Combined with the physical model of the hearth of BF,the air flow in hearth was simulated.Numerical simulation and experimental results are consistent, and visual effects enhanced significantly.(5) In the end, the research on the topic was systematically reviewed.Based on the...
