The large domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) has been around just for more than twenty years. In spite of the accumulation of valuable experience on management, there are still some aspects that need to be improved. Take data processing for example, the lack of an exhaustive and standardized mode has brought production and management lots of unfavorable factors, such as low efficiency on data processing, data transmitting, data sharing and multiple facets of date interfering. According to the reality of WWTP, the aim of this thesis is to develop a data processing system, which counts on updated computer technology, so that the problem of data processing can be resolved.Firstly, in order to make sure the main function and technology of the data processing system, it's necessary to make research on the traditional method that WWTP has been using in data processing. Secondly, this system will be combined with the user of it to establish a network and exploit the system software based on hardware and software of the computer technology. Finally this system will be applied to the real situation of WWTP and perfected step by step.This data processing system bring into computerized management a whole management content of a specific subject (assay and analysis), containing data collection, process, analysis, transmission, human resource and equipment. This system can satisfy managers and operators in lab and improve the level of management in WWTP.
