With human being's awareness of the great potential of the marine resources, they explore and use the marine resources more and more. Their pursuit of short term economic benefit and lacking of scientific theory's direction resulted in the serious destruction of the marine environment. So the research and control of offshore environment has already become one of the important subjects nowadays. In these offshore areas, tide is one of main water dynamic conditions. It is also the most basic moving medium of these areas. The transportation process of the other substances like sediment, salinity, various kinds of pollutants and heat all move with tide. During the research of offshore project and its environment problem, we must have a detailed understanding of the tide field first. The numerical simulation provides us an effective method for understanding the tide field.The main tasks of this essay are: 1. Establish a two-dimensional water dynamic and pollutants' diffusion and transportation numerical model of mean deepness.2. Make a numerical simulation of the tide field and concentration field of the actual ocean space.(l)Make the two-dimensional shallow water wave equation of mean deepness as the governing equation and convert it into stream motion equation of the orthogonal curve coordinate system. Use the against-the-wind DSI method of finite difference to disperse the stream motion equation on the interlaced grid and establish a two-dimensional tide numerical model. The boundary conditions of the model will be provided by East China Sea Model calculation and the tidal station (provides the actual measurement information).We make a simulation of the tide and wave motion of the ocean space between Jiangsu offshore and main channel by this model, and compare the actual measurement information with the result of the simulation to verify this model's rationality.(2)Tide residual current is a persistent residual current which caused by the non-linear function during the motion process of tide and wave.
