Nowadays, outdoor pollution is more and more serious, city’s air quality is much worsethan before, either. In this air condition, how to improve the residential indoor people livingenvironment gets more and more people’s attention. It becomes more important to design theform and position of window, which as the main outdoor and indoor air channels ofcommunication. In the transition season, windows’ forms play an important role in affectingthe spread of pollutants from outdoor to indoor.In this paper, research gets the indoor pollutant concentration and the change ofinfluence parameters by using the method of field testing for transitional season, Xi’aneast-west street frontage windward side residential building. By collating,analyzing the testdata and summarizing pollutant dispersion characteristics and effect mechanism of numericalsimulation provide empirical basis for the follow-up and simplified. By simplifying andactual measurement data, establish the3d street to indoor pollutants diffusion model. Throughsetting reasonable hourly temperature and velocity boundary conditions, complete streetvalley simulation process. To verify the accuracy of the numerical model is set up bycomparing the simulated and measured data.After the validation of the accuracy of the model, through the software simulation ofdifferent window form, namely high-wide0.9×1.5,1.2×1.2,1.5×0.9, and the shape of thethree vents in the left, middle and right three position, indoor carbon monoxideconcentrations and outdoor pollutants concentration changes. Through analyzing andcompare the several ways the impact on pollutant diffusion, found vents arrangement largestindoor pollutant concentration in the middle. By putting different window forms with samearea in the same position, the result shows that the spread of pollutants condition for0.9×1.5is greater than1.2×1.2and1.2×1.2is greater than1.5×0.9. In the same area, narrowelongated vent air pollutant concentration is greater than the square air vents, square ventpollutant concentration is greater than the wide flat form vents. By field measurement and numerical simulation, this paper analyzed the windows’forms influence on the pollutant diffusion, to provide scientific basis for scientific designwindow form.
