The shallow lakes are playing an important role in urban ecological environment, and the eutrophication is the lake's universal issue. The mathematic model is one of the important technologies for developing environmental synthetical study in the shallow lake. Firstly, some recent results on shallow lakes model are summarized and the related methods of numerical compute are summarized either. The source program was adapted and the water quality equation was inducted the eutrphicational item by using the circulation principles of phosphorus, nitrogen, dissolved oxygen and phytoplankton in WASP5.0. The two-dimension shallow flow -quality model which contains the sediment pollution is derivated by depth direction intergral based on the three-dimensional equation. Under the framework of finite volume method, flux victor splitting algorithm, an approximate Riemann solver, is employed to estimate the normal fluxes across the interface of cell. The model was applied in water environment simulation of the Xuanwu Lake, and the model was certified and verified by the practical monitoring data. The model can provide the scientifical approach for water environmental eutrophicational treatment. Then different schemes were designed according to actual condition, the optimal scheme is provided based on the analysis of the results of water quantity and quality. Finally, the influence of the water quality result by taking the wind field and sediment pollution into account are discussed.
