Incineration treatment is one of the main technologies to achieve volume reduction, harmless treatment and reutilization of Municipal solid waste(MSW).Now moist content is often higher than 50%, which causes a lot of difficulties to incinerate MSW.In this paper,experiments on drying of MSW were done on muffle and Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFD)Incineration to understand the drying characteristic and also,to provide reference data for Incineration's design.A simple stochastic sampling is irrational because the component of MSW is very complex in our country.Investigation was done to MSW of most cities and gained the typical component.Experiment investigations were performed for different temperatures(from 100℃to 200℃)and volumes.The aims were to determine a series of drying performance curve and analyzed influences of various factors on the drying process.A nondimensional relational expression was presented between drying time and thickness of massive material according to experiment data,and gained dynamic change rules of moisture in material;A kinetics analyses and calculation was also done in this paper.The results and datas of this experiment can provide design reference for new style incineration to adapt China's high-moisture, low calorific value of solid waste incineration technology.
